Little bit of this and that . . .

Daniel: "So, lots of people are asking what's happening and, to still your hunger, here is a little update on what we are up to at the moment:

DVD
We are putting together a nice DVD for you, with some nice bonus material for those who crave it. Problem right now is we haven't decided on the title yet, but we have a bunch of good ones to choose from. "Sub Par", "Briefly Described", "Insert Random Word-Joke Containing the Word 'LIVE'", "Not a Concept" and "Want Your Name Here?" are just a few of them. We'll see what comes down when we have shaken it long enough...

Leo Margarit -
Well, most of you know that Leo Margarit from France is the new drummer of the band. We are rehearsing new material now and learning to know each other musically as well as personally - and he is also in the process of moving to Sweden!

Russia
We visited Moscow, Russia, some weeks back, and we had a great time. The crowd was great, and we had a good time with both organizers, press and fans. We hope to come back as soon as possible. We need to see the Red Square in daylight (with less Disney vibe) and personally I really want to visit the Museum of National History. For those who have not yet seen the clips on YouTube (why do we even bother to make DVDs when we can have lousy recordings released anyway and not even have to bother about getting paid for it), we did a nice rendition of Ashes together with a nice Russian singer named Kiril. We performed sitting in a ring on stage, playing on three balalaikas and spoons, I might add. Now that's a scenery Symphony X will never offer you!

DVD
現在DVD完成に向けて作業中。熱望するファンのためにボーナス・マテリアル付きだ。 いまんとこトラブルがあって、まだタイトルが決まってないんだ。候補となる選択肢は挙がってる。 "不良品", "簡易版", "LIVEって言葉に関わるジョークをランダムに挿入してください。", "コンセプトに非ず" そして "お名前を頂けますか？" この辺が候補の一部だ。十分に練ってから決めることになると思う。

Leo Margarit -
たいていの人はLeo Margaritがフランスから来た新しいドラマーだってことは既に知ってると思う。いまは新しいアルバムに向けてのリハーサルと、音楽的な面だけではなく、個人的にもお互いを良く知ろうとしているところ・・・で、現在スウェーデンへの引越しを準備中なんだ！

Russia
数週間前にロシアにいったけど、とても良かった。ファンの数も凄くて、主催者とも記者とも楽しい時間を過ごせた。早いうちにまた来たいね。 昼間に「赤の広場」を見なきゃあ！ （ディズニーっぽい雰囲気ないからね）個人的には国立歴史博物館に凄く行きたいね。Youtubeのclipをまだ見ていない人へ・・・、 (とにかくそまつな録音のものがリリースされていて、わざわざ金を払う必要もなく手に入るってのに、何で俺たちはわざわざDVDを作るのだろうな), KirilっていうロシアのシンガーとAshesをやったんだ。ステージの真ん中に車座になって、 balalaikas と spoonsを使ってさ・・・自分もいたと思うけど。これはSymphony Xじゃあ絶対できねーだろーな!

• Complete sheet music of the song Fandango (Remedy Lane)
• Two promo packages consisting of different posters, stickers, photos, flyers and promo CD’s (one package will go for auction and the other one will be part of a lottery - more information about the lottery later on)
• Several different photo packages (from the Arena Tour, from the Dream Theater tour, from Dynamo Open Air, Release Party and more)
• One Album package (some Japanese copies and also my personal copies of the albums, used, scratched and loved - including the limited edition of Perfect Element p. I).
• Several posters (no - I won’t include the 3x2 meter BE Poster *sorry*)
• The Vinnie the Pooh hat that I wore during the opening act of Prog Power Europe (including a signed photo of me on stage with the hat on)
• The Lion Ears (including a signed copy of the photo - to be seen under my Picture Gallery)
• The drum sticks I used to play the oil barrel during the BE-shows and the recording of them (hardly to be seen on the DVD but you can sure hear them ’ping’ in the break before the last hit of the album).
• My tour mug with my German tour-name (Guido) on it. (everyone on the band bought one at a tank station and used them for every tour)
• Guitar strap (used from the Dream Theater tour and onwards (including the whole BE shows and can be seen on the DVD. Still with white make up on it).
• T-shirts (including misprinted ones and also the two NO WAR T-shirts used on stage in Greece and Holland - including signed live photos).
• A guitar-throwing trophy (I won second place in the first world champion ship guitar-throwing)
• Japanese Radio Spots (I recorded several radio spots for the Japanese market to promote BE).
• A 3/4 Double Bass!!! (used for the studio-recordings of BE and the debut album ’Synchronized’ of DIAL - including gig bag and standard)

We have finally given up and gotten ourselves an official MySpace page. So, go ahead, be our friends and start writing "Thanks for the add!" all over it in true MySpace spirit :)
